#StocktonBeautiful and the @hagginmuseum will be co-hosting a celebration which starts outside with the dedication of the new planting in front of the Museum and continues inside with a festive reception.
The new plantings will be dedicated in honor of Tod Ruhstaller who recently retired after 39 years as curator and CEO at the Museum. The plantings emphasize low water use and decorative effects from foliage as well as flower color.
The plant palette includes a multi-trunk Mediterranean Fan Palm, Sago Palms, Canna Lilies, Drift Roses, Storm Cloud Agapanthus, Brakelights Red Yucca, Flirt Nandina, Red Hot Poker, and Mystic Spires Salvia.
Stockton Beautiful is excited to complete this beautification project after several years of planning and fund raising following our last significant project: the renovation of the Weber Avenue median in 2019.
